What are the season must haves?

Dotted Line

Blazer Jacket

It's not yet warm enough to be totally sleeveless so you really need a separate jacket that goes with everything that you can just throw on.
Spend the money ladies on a good one that is tailored and fits perfectly; you will wear it for years!
Check out Country Road (pictured), theoutnet.com, Lisa Ho,  Marcs and Alannah Hill. Choose neutral colours like beige, silver and mushroom.

Nautical stripes

The stores are stripe mad this season! There are stripe dresses, shoes, tops, shorts, scarves and bags.
Select the item of your choice; to keep it simple, go for a top.
The best selections are in Jigsaw, Marcs (pictured), FCUK and Sportscraft.
Wear it to work, on the weekends or at your Christmas party!

Brogue shoes

There is nothing better than a stylish flat shoe....our feet are cheering at the thought! Brogues were hot in the 60's and have been reinvented. Super stylish Aussie girls have adopted the look as well as our cousins in New York, London and Paris. The best news is that they are great for now as well as with tights in Autumn/Winter; buy a pair that will go the distnace and last you.
Check out Edward Meller (pictured), Wanted and NetaPorter.co.uk.

What are the rules on how to wear the season pieces?

Nautical Stripes

A top looks impressive under a suit jacket for work, the dresses are super cute for a casual weekend or add a stripe in accessories like shoes.
Below is a great 'Dress Down Friday' look!

Khaki

This is strictly for the weekend and the colour looks great on most complexions. Head to toe khaki is a little too military; break it up with another colour.
Khaki looks great with navy, white, cream and purple.

The Colour Nude

Head to toe nude looks, well nude really! A bit too nothing. Add a splash of colour to really make it pop.
Nude looks sensational with purple, white, geranium red and grey.
